Pursuant to Article 13 EU Regulation No. 2016/679 (hereinafter, "GDPR") we inform you that your data will be processed in the following manner and for the following purposes:
The Controller processes the personal, identifying data (e.g., first name, last name, company name, address, telephone, e-mail, bank and payment references) - hereinafter, "personal data" or also "data") that you provide when concluding contracts for the Controller's services.
The purposes of the processing are: carrying out the writer's own activity as a monastery and pilgrimage centre, as well as for management, statistical, commercial, marketing, credit protection, credit management and assignment purposes, pre-contractual, contractual and tax obligations, obligations required by law, a regulation, EU legislation or an order of the Authority (such as anti-money laundering), exercising the rights of the Holder, for example the right to defense in court.
Processing is lawful because at least one of the following conditions is met:
(a) the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes;
(b) the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or for the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject's request;
(c) the processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which the data controller is subject.
The processing of your personal data is carried out by means of the operations indicated in Art. 4 No. 2) GDPR, namely: collection, recording, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, deletion and destruction of data. Your personal data are subject to both paper and electronic and/or automated processing.
The Data Controller will process personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the above purposes and in any case for no longer than 10 years after the termination of the relationship.
Your data may:
- be known to employees and collaborators of the Data Controller, in their capacity as persons in charge and/or internal data processors and/or system administrators;
- be disclosed to third-party companies or other entities (by way of example, agent network, factoring companies, debt collection companies, business information companies, credit institutions, professional firms, consultants, insurance companies, etc.) that perform outsourcing activities on behalf of the Controller, in their capacity as external data processors.
Personal data are stored on servers located within the European Union. It is in any case understood that the Data Controller, should it become necessary, will be entitled to move the servers outside the EU as well. In this case, the Data Controller assures as of now that the transfer of data outside the EU will take place in accordance with the applicable legal provisions, subject to the stipulation of the standard contractual clauses provided by the European Commission.
The provision of the requested data is necessary for the proper performance of the writer's own activities and for the effective management and delivery of services related to it. It may in some cases be necessary to acquire special data, aimed at ensuring the person concerned the maximum efficiency in the provision of services related to the activities of the writer. Specific consent is required for such data.
The data subject has the right to obtain from the data controller confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her is being processed and, if so, he or she has the right to obtain access to, rectification, erasure or restriction of the processing of personal data, has the right to object to the processing at any time and also in the case of processing for direct marketing purposes and automated decision making; also has the right to portability, to withdraw consent at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent before withdrawal, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
