The trail from Aquileia to Sveta Gora, created thanks to the Interreg Italy-Slovenia project Walk2Spirit, is now a well-established reality in the Italian trail panorama. Following recognition from all the municipalities it passes through, it has now achieved certification as a Regional Trail (Cammino Regionale) and inclusion in the Friuli Venezia Giulia Trails Network (Rete dei Cammini del Friuli Venezia Giulia). Alongside signage, website, maps, and the official guidebook, a dedicated Web App will also soon be available to hikers.
Due to upgrading works near the embankment of the Isonzo river, the usual trail on the section following the Pieris bridge is temporarily inaccessible.
On Saturday, May 9th, two cross-border hikes and a cycling excursion set off from Europe Square. Their goal was to present the results of completed European projects to the general public and thus honor Europe Day.
On the occasion of the eighth edition of the Geografie Literary Festival, held from March 25th to 29th in Piazza della Repubblica in the center of Monfalcone, the presentation of the Gorizia Camino guide also took place on Thursday, March 26th.

On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, 73 seventh-grade students from Fran Erjavec Elementary School in Nova Gorica, along with several chaperones, walked a portion of the Iter Goritiense.
On Saturday, September 6, 2025, the Walk2spirit team conducted a training session for guides on the Iter Goritiense.
